What you need to know
HOW IT WORKS…
- Become a member. Sign up here for the annual membership scheme
- Take a look at our library of things and choose what you would like to borrow for a small weekly fee of £1, £4, £8 or £12. Payment for borrowing items can be by card or cash.
- Collect your ‘thing’ from its location. Read the manufacturer’s advice online if applicable before use and pick up any personal protective equipment (PPE) that might be needed.
- Use the item safely and clean the item after use. Return to Share St Albans before the loan period has ended otherwise you may be liable for a late fee charge.
- We understand that things go wrong sometimes and accidents happen so do talk to us if the item has broken or been damaged. We reserve the right to charge a fee for any non-returned, lost or damaged items but we do expect to see normal wear and tear.
