What you need to know

Become a member. Sign up here for the annual membership scheme
Take a look at our library of things and choose what you would like to borrow for a small weekly fee of £1, £4, £8 or £12. Payment for borrowing items can be by card or cash.
Collect your ‘thing’ from its location. Read the manufacturer’s advice online if applicable before use and pick up any personal protective equipment (PPE) that might be needed.
Use the item safely and clean the item after use. Return to Share St Albans before the loan period has ended otherwise you may be liable for a late fee charge.
We understand that things go wrong sometimes and accidents happen so do talk to us if the item has broken or been damaged. We reserve the right to charge a fee for any non-returned, lost or damaged items but we do expect to see normal wear and tear.
